Terms of Service

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to buy a subscription. Screenodon is not directed to anyone under 16. If you are using Screenodon for a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at contact@prestosaurusrex.com if you think someone else has access to it.

You own the screenshots, images, text, fonts, and projects you upload or create. Nothing here transfers ownership to us.

You give us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, process it, render and export it, and send it where you ask us to send it. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and our AI providers do not either. When you use an AI feature we record how much you used, not what you sent.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, including any fonts, logos, and images.

Screenodon itself stays ours: the app, the template library, the bundled backgrounds, graphics, icons, and device frames. While your account is in good standing you may use them inside Screenodon and you may use the screenshots you export commercially, including in your App Store and Google Play listings, in ads, and on your own site.

You may not resell or redistribute our templates, frames, or library assets as assets, or use them to build a competing screenshot tool.

If you connect App Store Connect or Google Play, we act on your instructions and upload under your own store credentials. Your relationship with Apple and Google is governed by their agreements, and you are responsible for your listing meeting their guidelines. We do not control store review, and we cannot guarantee any listing is accepted.

Apple, the Apple logo and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.

Screenodon has a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro is $39 per month, or $29 per month billed annually at $348 per year.

• Payments are handled by Stripe. Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time in Settings, under Subscription. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again.
• Payments are not refundable, including for partial periods, except where the law requires a refund.
• If a payment fails, Pro features may pause until the payment goes through. Your projects are not deleted.
• We may change prices. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it takes effect.
• Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect.

Pro export is unlimited in the ordinary sense: there is no monthly export quota and nothing is counted against you. We do apply reasonable operational limits so that one very large job or a burst of traffic cannot degrade the service for everyone else, and a monthly fair-use ceiling on AI features, which is set well above normal use. If you ever run into one, contact us.

You agree not to:

• upload or publish anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful;
• impersonate another app, brand, or person;
• attempt to break, probe, scrape, or overload the service, or to work around usage limits, paywalls, or abuse protection;
• share your account so that several people use one subscription; or
• resell or white-label the service itself.

You can stop using Screenodon at any time. Deleting your account in Settings, under Advanced, removes your data permanently and cancels any active subscription. It cannot be undone.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account without cause, we will refund any unused prepaid time.

We work to keep Screenodon available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, add, or retire features. If we retire something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice where we can. Keep your own copies of your exported screenshots.

Screenodon is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some places do not allow these exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Screenodon is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will revise the date above when we do, and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate. Continuing to use Screenodon after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and we each agree to that venue. Nothing here removes a consumer right you have that cannot be waived where you live.
